2023 Winter/Spring Foreman Development Series

Local #611 and the JATC are pleased to announce the Albuquerque Foreman Development Series Fall 2022 / 2023 class schedule; These classes will be held at the Albuquerque JATC, 4501 Montbel Place NE. UNM Sponsorship Game!!

IBEW 611 is excited to announce the UNM Sponsorship Game at THE PIT! Tickets must be picked up at the IBEW 611 Hall on Saturday, January 14th from 8:00 - 10:00 am! Biden-Harris Administration Announces New Standards for Made-in-America National Network of Electric Vehicle Chargers

The Biden-Harris Administration has been working to create a convenient, reliable and made-in-America electric vehicle charging network. EV sales have tripled and the number of publicly available charging ports has grown by at least 40% since Biden took office.  Standards have been set to build a national EV charging network that is user-friendly, reliable  and accessible. Senate Bill 165 is being heard at the Capitol tomorrow in Senate Conservation. We are opposing Senate Bill 165, which contains language that will directly affect utility workers and New Mexico rate payers purchasing power from coops or utilities. "It is worth noting that if existing electric utilities that are asked to provide metering, billing, collection, and customer service for local utilities, rates for the remaining customers will almost certainly increase".
